EV-VN7008AJ Automotive High-Side Driver Evaluation Board

The EV-VN7008AJ board features the VN7008AJ Smart high-side driver with CurrentSense feedback device designed for Automotive applications. An on-board set of components enables the user to directly connect the load, the power supply and a microcontroller without any additional design effort.

• Operating voltage range: +4 to +28Vdc
• Maximum output current: 96A (limited)
• Very low standby current: 0.5μA
• Drives +12V automotive grounded loads through a 3V/5V CMOS-compatible interface
• Dedicated high precision proportional load current sensing
• OFF-state open-load detection
• Output short to Vcc detection
• Undervoltage shutdown
• Overvoltage clamp
• Load current limitation
• Self-limiting of fast thermal transients
• Configurable latch-off on overtemperature or power limitation with Fault Reset pin
• Loss of ground and loss of Vcc protection
• Reverse battery protection with external components
• Electrostatic discharge protection
• Sockets/Pads for current-sensing resistor
• Output via screw terminal connector
