DN2470 Linear Regualtor Input Voltage Range Extender Evaluation Board

The Microchip DN2470 Linear Regulator Evaluation Board demonstrates how the input voltage range of an LDO can be extended using the Microchip DN2470 700V Vertical FET. The featured DN2470 FET, LDOs and other circuity create an off-line linear regulator capable of handling 120 VAC and 230 VAC inputs. The board features three selectable LDOs that offer 3.0 V, 3.3 V and 5.0 V respectively, each of which has a typical output current of 10 mA.
