RS PRO Vinyl ’Mains Water’ Pipe Marking Tape (150mm x 33m)

A hardwearing green vinyl tape featuring large capital black text displaying ’MAINS WATER’ for clear identification of water pipes minimising the risk of accidental damage and contamination.

Pipe marking tapes helps ensure that your pipe work meets health and safety regulations and is compliant with British Standard BS 1710 dictating that pipework is clearly marked at all points where employees may interact with the contents, such as a sampling point. The mains water tapes green colour is industry standard and enables instant identification of water pipes from a distance.

Constructed from high quality Vinyl and Polypropylene providing a durable, fade resistant tape. Supplied in lengths of 33m and measuring 150mm in width the Vinyl marking tape is an ideal aid for maintenance and repair operations, keeping employees safe and avoiding costly accidents

Industrial Tapes

Unmarked pipes represent a hazard. Marking them with tapes will identify and display their contents. Such identification is covered by BS 1710. The Health & Safety (Safety Signs and Signals) Regulations place great emphasis on the labelling of pipework.
