Touch Board

The Touch Board is an easy-to-use platform for a huge range of projects. Combine the Touch Board and Bare Conductive Paint and you can turn almost any material or surface into a capacitive or proximity sensor. You could paint a light switch on your wall, make a paper piano or trigger a sound via the onboard MP3 player. The number of touch-activated projects enabled by combining Touch Board with Electric Paint is only limited by the imagination.
Touch Board is an Arduino Shield-compatible processor board with extra features such as the 12-channel touch/proximity interface and an MP3 player. It appears as an Arduino Leonardo to the Arduino IDE for programming purposes.

Bare Conductive Touch Board

The Bare conductive touch is a microcontroller board with a dedicated capacitive touch and MP3 decoder ICs. It has a headphone socket and micro SD card holder (for file storage), as well as, 12 capacitive touch electrodes. This device is based around the ATmega32U4 and runs at 16MHz from 5V. It has a micro USB connector, a JST connector for an external lithium polymer (LiPo) cell, a power switch, and a reset button. This device resembles the Arduino Leonardo board and can be programmed using the Arduino IDE. The ATmega32U4 can appear to a connected computer as a mouse or a keyboard, (HID) serial port (CDC), or USB MIDI device.NoteElectric Paint: 50ml jar RS Part No. 835-2693 and 10ml tube RS Part No. 835-2699
