The clockwise-coiled spring is manufactured to DIN 17223 Class C standard for patented cold-drawn round carbon steel wire. Its dimensions conform to DIN 2097 Grade 2, which is the industry standard for the tolerances of spring materials. The spring is lubricated to maintain the coiling action and ensure a long service life. Oil-tempered springs of this type rarely need adjustment.
