This high-temperature silicone elastomer cable means you can power your equipment safely in environments that range from -60°C to +180°C. It's part of our stringently tested RS PRO series.
Made from a sturdy silicone elastomer that is able to withstand both very high and very low temperatures without cracking or melting, this cable's flexible outer sheath is designed to protect the wires inside. Its outer diameter is 8.7 mm and its cross-sectional area is 1.5 mm². This cable comes in lengths of 50 metres.
Having been exhaustively tested, the cable meets international standards to ensure it's effective as a stranded copper-conducting cable (IEC 60228, Class 5) that's both flame retardant (IEC 60332-1) and also won't release toxic gas in the event of fire, as it's halogen-free (IEC 60754-1).
