Eaton Melamine Cartridge Fuse, 10mm Diameter, 30A - KTK-30
This fast-acting cartridge fuse from the Eaton range provides protection against short circuit and overcurrent faults. It does this by rapidly cutting power to your equipment when a fault is detected – this prevents electric shocks or damage to the machine. The unit has conductive nickel-plated bronze contacts on each end for a reliable connection. These are also corrosion-resistant, so they won't decay due to rust. Fuses like these are used in a range of applications, from meter circuits to industrial control panels.
Features & Benefits
• Colour-coded black so you can quickly identify this as a 600V AC (alternating current) rated component
• F-speed rated for a fast response to the slightest overcurrent
• Compact dimensions of 38 (length) x 10mm (diameter) for use in circuits with limited space
• High breaking capacity of 100,000A for safe use in a range of heavy-duty applications
• F-speed rated for a fast response to the slightest overcurrent
• Compact dimensions of 38 (length) x 10mm (diameter) for use in circuits with limited space
• High breaking capacity of 100,000A for safe use in a range of heavy-duty applications
Can I reuse this fuse?
You can't reuse this fuse after it has blown. This is because it's a sacrificial or one-time-use device that breaks when a faulty current occurs.
What's the advantage of melamine body material?
Melamine has high arc resistance, which makes it an ideal choice for high-current fuses like this one.
