The Lapp Hexagonal Reducer enables the use of cable glands with smaller connection threads than the existing threaded holes in enclosures. It corrects the size difference between the cable gland’s connection thread and the threaded hole, offering flexibility in selecting a cable gland regardless of the hole size in the enclosure. The reducer features a mounted O-ring, which enhances the protection class (IP rating) of the cable gland by ensuring a secure seal to the enclosure, providing higher protection against dust and water ingress.
