MAX1811 Battery Charger, S-08, 1.4W, Lithium Ion

The MAX1811 is a single-cell, lithium ion battery charger that can be powered externally via a USB port up to 6.5V. This charger includes a 0.5% battery regulation for voltage accuracy to allow maximum use of the battery. An FET is included in the charger to deliver up to 500mA charging current to the battery. The device can be configured foe either 4.1V or 4.2V battery using the SELV input. The open-drain output (CHG) will indicate charge status.

MAX1811 has a preconditioning feature that will soft start a near dead battery, before charging. Other safety features are included, such as; continuous monitoring of voltage, current monitoring & fault checking before charging.
