With a familiar look and feel of a laptop with a 13.3” HD screen, keyboard, trackpad and 10+ hours of battery life the pi-top kit lets you use your Raspberry Pi anywhere you want.
Pi power
Simply plug in your existing Raspberry Pi and unleash pi power. pi-top works with all versions of Raspberry Pi but for the best performance upgrade to the latest Raspberry Pi 3 Model B for 10x the processing performance of the original board. Slide by the acrylic slice cover and access all your GPIO on the Pi, or expand your hardware with the pi-top prototyping board to add extra functionality for your own projects.
pi-top with pi-topOS
pi-top comes bundled with pi-topOS and loads of fun educational software. pi-topOS (our maker based operating system) makes it easy to connect to Wi-Fi, monitor your battery life, and personalise your OS to suit your taste. Included on pi-topOS is CEEDUniverse which teaches you how to code, build circuits and make hardware with your Raspberry Pi in a fun gamified survival world.
Expand your hardware anyway you like with pi-topPROTO
The pi-topPROTO add on board is the first from pi-top. Add extra functionality to the pi-top by creating your own hardware directly on the board. Fitting neatly onto the rail the pi-topPROTO gives you access to all of the 40 GPIO pins on the Pi allowing you to integrate ADCs, motors, or whatever you can think of. Powered by the pi-top Hub you also have 3V, 5V and even 18V available at your disposal. So whatever you intend to make the pi-topPROTO is the place to start.
