The Cynergy3 S8 series miniature high voltage reed relay is perfect for applications where space saving is a prime consideration. To give improved isolation between the high voltage contacts and the low voltage coil S8 miniature reed relays have the coil pins positioned near the centre of the relay while the contact pins are near the ends.

Direct your high-voltage reed switch with this Sensata Cynergy3 S8 series reed relay. It uses its contact pins to efficiently activate the electromagnet in an attached switch. The contact pins are made from durable rhodium that remains stable in high heat and offers corrosion resistance, so you can use this unit in damp environments. The compact design of the relay makes it suitable for high-voltage applications where there isn't a lot of space available.

This reed relay has a contact configuration of SPNO (single pole, normally open). The 'normally open' configuration allows the relay to complete the circuit and directly activate the reed switch when triggered.

Including bounce, this relay has a 1-millisecond (ms) operating time and a 0.5ms release time.
